David Mace

Dave Mace was born in 1970–right between the Beatles and Star Wars. Maybe that’s why he’s able to see things from many perspectives.

In the early morning as a kid, Dave awoke to the smell of fresh-brewed coffee, the sound of 61 Country on the radio and his dad going out the door to work, lunchbox in hand.

Today, Dave applies a solid work ethic to everything he does to help small businesses succeed. His toolbox includes an analytical ability that makes a good companion to his creativity. He rolls up his sleeves and applies strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking to every small business marketing situation. A voracious reader, Dave devours anything to do with marketing in order to keep his skills sharp.

He’s a blend of old-school and new thinking, knowing when to apply basic fundamentals and when to flex new technologies and methods. In a nutshell, he’s as comfortable with social media as he is with media relations, and he knows how to make them work together.

Dave has worked with the largest privately-held firms in the world and he’s also helped dozens of small businesses market themselves in the early, growth and mature stages.

Dave is also a business consultant for the Kansas Small Business Development Center at Wichita State University. In his spare time, he also teaches business management and marketing classes at Friends University.

When he’s not helping save the world from creative mediocrity and over-spending, Dave likes to fish, hunt, stay in shape and spend time with his awesome family.
